Perform the following steps to file a complaint against an incorrect challan:
1. Visit the official website of Parivahan.
2. Click on the “Complaint” tab.
3. You’ll then land on the grievance page.
4. Select the wrongly issued challan.
5. Provide the necessary information and the description of the challan (i.e., on what ground the challan is incorrect).
6. Upload the image of the evidences.
7. Click on “Submit” to raise the complaint.
8. Jot down the complaint number to further track the status of the challan.
## Must Follow Traffic Safety Rules to avoid Himachal Pradesh challan
Following the traffic rules is mandatory for everyone, not only in order to avoid offence charges, but also to ensure your safety and of the one’s on road.
Some of the general traffic safety rules that everyone should follow include the following:
1. Always drive on the left-hand side of the road.
2. Make sure to wear a helmet while riding a two-wheeler.
3. Ensure to use your seatbelts while driving a four-wheeler.
4. Avoid jumping red lights and follow the traffic signals.
5. Don’t use mobile phones while driving.
6. Always carry the essential documents, such as a driving license, insurance papers, PUCC, etc.
7. Don’t park your vehicle in the “No Parking Area”.
8. Never drive your vehicle under the influence (alcohol or drugs).
9. Adhere to the speed limits. Avoid overspeeding of vehicles.
10. Honk when necessary, i.e., at the time of changing lanes. Avoid honking in front of hospitals and schools.
11. Use lights when necessary.
