Honda Raises Prices Across Entire Product Lineup in India, Introduces Safety and Feature Updates

Honda Cars India has implemented a comprehensive update across its entire product range in the Indian market, comprising both price hikes and significant safety and feature enhancements. The Japanese automaker aims to align with its global vision of achieving zero road fatalities involving Honda vehicles by 2050.

In a recent announcement, Honda disclosed that it has raised the prices of all its models in India while concurrently introducing upgraded safety features across its lineup. This move underscores the company's commitment to prioritizing the safety of its customers, adhering to rigorous safety standards, and fostering a culture of responsible driving.

The safety upgrades encompass models such as the City, City e: HEV, Amaze, and Elevate. Notable enhancements include the addition of 6 airbags, 3-point ELR seatbelts for all occupants, and seatbelt reminders for all passengers across various trim levels. These safety features will now be offered as standard across all variants of the aforementioned models.

Takuya Tsumura, President & CEO of Honda Cars India Ltd., emphasized the company's unwavering dedication to safety. He stated, "Honda demonstrates its unwavering commitment to the safety of our customers through a comprehensive suite of active and passive safety features, prioritizing protection for drivers, passengers, and fellow road users alike."

Furthermore, Honda has implemented updates to certain trim levels of its models to enhance customer comfort and convenience. For instance, the Honda Elevate S, V, and VX trims now come standard with vanity mirrors for the driver and front occupant. Additionally, select variants of the Elevate model have been equipped with digital analogue integrated meters and upgraded front AC vents and control knobs.
