Tata Rolls Out Nexon Camo Edition From Rs 9.99 Lakh

Tata Motors has rolled out a limited-run Camo Edition of the Nexon compact SUV, bringing two exclusive paint shades, dedicated styling touches, a bigger touchscreen and a built-in dashcam, while keeping the existing range of petrol, diesel and CNG powertrains and transmission choices unchanged across the model lineup for buyers.

  • New special edition brings exclusive colours and Camo styling to the Nexon

  • Priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 13.94 lakh, ex-showroom

Tata Motors has introduced a new Camo Edition of the Nexon, its popular compact SUV, with prices starting at Rs 9.99 lakh ex-showroom.

Offered for a limited period, the special edition is built on the Creative and higher trims of the existing Nexon range and adds a set of cosmetic and feature updates without touching the mechanical package that buyers already know well.

Tata Nexon Camo Edition Price And Rivals

The Camo Edition spans a wide price range, running from Rs 9.99 lakh for the entry Creative Camo petrol manual to Rs 13.94 lakh for the top Fearless+ A PS Camo with the dual-clutch petrol automatic.

In between sit the Creative+ S Camo, Creative+ PS Camo and Fearless+ PS Camo trims, each offered across a mix of petrol, diesel and CNG options depending on the variant chosen.

Manual, AMT and dual-clutch automatic gearboxes continue to be available in line with the standard Nexon lineup.

In the market, the SUV goes up against familiar rivals including the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kylaq and Kia Syros.

What Is New On The Nexon Camo Edition

The most noticeable update lies in the paintwork, with two fresh shades named Munnar Mist and Coorg Cloud introduced exclusively for this edition. Camo branding appears on the front fenders, while the front seat headrests carry a matching Camo perforation pattern, giving the cabin a subtle thematic touch that ties into the exterior changes.

Inside, Tata has swapped in a larger 12.3-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment unit in place of the 10.25-inch system fitted to equivalent variants of the regular Nexon. The digital instrument cluster remains the familiar 10.25-inch display carried over from the standard model.

Another notable addition is an integrated dashcam, which has been built to work alongside the SUV's existing 360-degree camera setup, adding a layer of convenience for owners who want continuous recording without fitting an aftermarket unit.

Beyond these Camo-specific tweaks, the rest of the equipment list stays true to what the Nexon already offers. Buyers still get a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a nine-speaker JBL sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a wireless phone charger, connected car features, the 360-degree camera with blind-view monitor, and driver assistance systems, with availability depending on the specific variant picked.

Engine And Transmission Options Unchanged

Powertrain choices remain identical to the regular Nexon range. The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine continues to produce 120hp and 170Nm, the 1.5-litre diesel unit puts out 115hp and 260Nm, and the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol running on CNG delivers 100hp and 170Nm.

Transmission options include a six-speed manual, an automated manual gearbox, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, with the exact pairing depending on the engine and trim selected.

With this edition, Tata appears to be offering existing and prospective Nexon buyers a visually distinct alternative without altering the core mechanical proposition that has made the SUV a consistent seller in its segment.
