Hyundai Motor India has crossed 8 lakh connected cars in India, marking another milestone for its Bluelink connected-car platform. The company has now set a target of reaching 10 lakh cumulative connected car sales by 2027, followed by 20 lakh by 2030.
Hyundai's upcoming made-in-India electric SUV will offer next-generation connected car technology as standard across all variants. According to the company, the new model will also become Hyundai's first locally developed EV for India and form part of its Software Defined Vehicle strategy.
Hyundai's Connected Car Journey in India
Hyundai's connected-car journey in India began with the Venue in 2019, which introduced Bluelink as the country's first OEM-fitted connected SUV. Since then, connected technology has expanded across Hyundai's portfolio. Connected vehicles accounted for 4% of the company's sales in 2019, increasing to 20% in 2026.

Hyundai says Bluelink has supported more than 5 lakh motorists through SOS and roadside assistance services. The platform has also recorded around 15,000 crash-notification interventions and helped law enforcement agencies with vehicle tracing and recovery.

2019: Debuted Bluelink on the Venue.
