Hyundai India has revised prices for select Venue variants in March 2026, with hikes of up to Rs. 20,000, affecting specific petrol and diesel trims.
The entry-level and top-spec variants remain unaffected, keeping the overall price range intact at Rs. 7.99 lakh to Rs. 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai India has quietly but firmly nudged the price tags on several Venue variants upward, effective immediately. The revision is selective rather than sweeping, touching specific variants across the petrol and diesel lineup while leaving the broader price range of the compact SUV untouched.
For buyers who have been sitting on the fence, this is worth paying attention to before heading to the dealership.
Which Variants Have Become More Expensive and by How Much
The steepest hike falls on the HX5 1.2 Petrol MT variant, which has gone up by Rs. 20,000, taking its new price to Rs. 9.55 lakh (ex-showroom). All other variants with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, including the entry-level HX2 and the mid-level HX6T, carry forward their existing prices without any change.
In the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol range, revisions are limited strictly to DCT-equipped variants. The HX5 DCT and the HX6 DCT have each become dearer by Rs. 9,000, while the higher-spec HX8 DCT has attracted a smaller increase of Rs. 5,000.
Manual turbo-petrol variants and all Venue N Line trims remain unaffected, with the N Line continuing to be priced between Rs. 10.65 lakh and Rs. 15.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
On the diesel front, the picture is fairly uniform. The HX2 Diesel MT, HX5 Diesel MT, HX5 Diesel AT, HX7 Diesel MT, and the HX7 Diesel MT dual-tone have all been revised upward by Rs. 8,000 each.
Notably, the higher-end diesel automatic variants, the HX8 Diesel AT and the HX10 Diesel AT are untouched by this round of revisions.
The Overall Price Bracket Stays Intact Despite the Revisions
Despite the changes outlined above, the Venue continues to be positioned between Rs. 7.99 lakh and Rs. 15.51 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom), since neither the entry-level nor the top-specification variant has been affected by this round of revisions. That is a meaningful reassurance for buyers at either end of the spectrum.
Engine and Gearbox Options Remain the Same
The Venue continues to be offered with three engine choices: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol producing 88 PS and 114 Nm, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol generating 120 PS and 172 Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel delivering 116 PS and 250 Nm of torque.
These are paired with either a five-speed manual, six-speed manual, seven-speed DCT, or a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
What This Means for Prospective Buyers
Price hikes of this nature, while not dramatic in isolation, do add up when factored into loan EMIs or insurance calculations. For anyone who had already shortlisted one of the affected variants, acting sooner rather than later makes practical sense. That said, the Venue remains a competitive proposition in the sub-compact SUV segment, and the revised prices do not significantly alter its positioning against rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, and Kia Sonet.
