BMW and MINI Cars to Get Costlier from July 1, 2026: Price Hike of Up to 2% Announced

BMW Group India has announced a price increase of up to 2% across its entire BMW and MINI portfolio from July 1, 2026. The revision will apply to both locally produced and imported models, with the company citing rupee depreciation and rising logistics costs as the primary reasons behind the move.

  • BMW Group India has announced a price hike of up to two per cent across its complete vehicle portfolio, coming into effect on 1 July 2026.

  • The price revision applies uniformly to all locally assembled vehicles as well as completely built-up (CBU) imported models across both the BMW and MINI brands.

BMW Group India has officially announced a price revision across its entire BMW and MINI vehicle range in India. The new prices will come into effect from July 1, 2026, with vehicles becoming costlier by up to 2% depending on the model and variant.

The latest revision affects the brand's complete lineup, including locally assembled luxury vehicles and fully imported models. According to the company, the decision has been taken to offset increasing operational pressures caused by the depreciation of the Indian rupee and rising logistics costs.

Why are BMW and MINI Prices Increasing?

The decision to increase prices comes at a time when the automotive industry is navigating a challenging economic landscape. According to BMW India, the luxury brand is facing persistent pressure from escalating input costs and shifting macroeconomic factors.

The depreciation of the Indian rupee against major global currencies has increased the cost of importing vehicles and components. Additionally, a steady rise in international and domestic transportation and logistics expenses has ultimately forced the carmaker to pass a portion of these operational costs onto the end consumer.

BMW and MINI Models Affected by the Price Hike

The upcoming price revision will apply across BMW Group India's entire portfolio, covering both locally assembled vehicles and fully imported models.

Locally manufactured models such as the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, 3 Series Long Wheelbase, 5 Series Long Wheelbase, 7 Series, X1, X3, X5, X7, M340i and iX1 Long Wheelbase will all receive revised pricing from July 1, 2026.

The increase will also affect BMW's imported luxury and performance models, including the BMW i5 M60, i7, iX, M2 Coupe, M4 Competition, M5 and XM. Since these vehicles are brought into India as Completely Built-Up (CBU) units, the impact of rising import and logistics costs is more significant.

Additionally, the entire MINI India lineup will also become more expensive as part of BMW Group India's latest price revision. This means customers planning to purchase a BMW or MINI vehicle may benefit from booking before the new prices come into effect.

Second BMW Price Hike in 2026

This is not the first price revision announced by BMW Group India this year. The company had previously increased prices earlier in 2026, citing similar reasons, including higher logistics expenses, rising input costs and currency fluctuations. The latest announcement marks the second price hike for BMW and MINI models in the Indian market this year.

With demand for luxury vehicles remaining strong, BMW Group India continues to focus on maintaining profitability and premium service standards while adapting to changing economic conditions. Buyers interested in BMW or MINI vehicles may want to finalise their purchase before the new prices come into effect on July 1, 2026.
