There Is Now A Two Month Wait Period For The Hyundai Creta N Line

There is now a two-month wait period for the Hyundai Creta N Line

The highly anticipated Hyundai Creta N Line is creating quite a buzz even before its scheduled launch on March 11. Bookings for the sportier SUV are open, requiring a Rs 25,000 deposit both online and at dealerships. Hyundai has now disclosed that it anticipates a waiting period of six to eight weeks ahead of the Creta N Line's launch, with deliveries expected to commence in May 2024.

Here's a concise overview of the upcoming Creta N Line, offering a glimpse of what's in store before the official price announcement:

Distinctive Exterior Changes

The Hyundai Creta N Line introduces a sportier aesthetic compared to its regular counterpart. Notable exterior modifications include a redesigned grille, tweaked bumpers, multiple 'N Line' badges, red highlights, a dual-tip exhaust, and larger 18-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers. The SUV will also be available in a new color variant called Thunder Blue with a contrasting black roof.

Elegant Interior Upgrades

Inside, the Creta N Line will feature an all-black theme complemented by red highlights on the dashboard and contrasting red stitching for the upholstery. The N Line-specific steering wheel adds to the sporty ambiance. Expect the SUV to retain the standard model's dual 10.25-inch displays for instrumentation and infotainment, along with features like ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone AC.

Safety and Assistance Systems

For occupant protection, the Creta N Line is likely to include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill assist, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) tech may also be part of the package.

Turbocharged Performance

Under the hood, Hyundai will equip the Creta N Line with the same 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine found in the standard model, delivering 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque. The SUV may offer a 6-speed manual gearbox in addition to the 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission). Expect a slightly different suspension setup and quicker steering response to enhance handling, differentiating it from the regular Creta.

Anticipated Price and Competition

The Hyundai Creta N Line is projected to have a starting price of around Rs 17.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with rivals such as the Kia Seltos GTX+ and X-Line, providing a sportier alternative to the Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun GT Line, and MG Astor.

With its distinctive design, enhanced performance, and advanced features, the Hyundai Creta N Line is poised to make a significant impact in the competitive SUV segment. Car enthusiasts and potential buyers are eagerly awaiting its official launch to experience the fusion of style and performance it promises to deliver.
