The Mahindra Thar, since its relaunch in 2020, has turned the heads of the fanbase. The rugged off-road SUV was launched in a diverse palette of six colours: Mystic Copper, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black, Rocky Beige, Red Rage, and Aqua Marine. Blazing Brown
In 2023, Mahindra expanded the Thar lineup with rear-wheel drive variants, seizing the opportunity to inject fresh hues into the mix. One of these additions was the vibrant Blazing Bronze, a bold choice that exudes confidence and adventurous spirit, exclusively available for the rear-wheel drive models.
Everest White
Knowing white is hugely popular among Indian car buyers, Mahindra smartly brought Everest White to the Thar lineup. The clean, crisp white accentuates the iconic boxy shape and aligns with traditional buyer preferences
Pink
In addition, in 2023, Mahindra teamed up with the Indian Premier League cricket franchise Rajasthan Royals to design a one-of-a-kind pink Thar with purple highlights in two shades, reflecting the colours of the team. Although it wasn't available as a factory paint option, this design certainly caught people's eyes—it had a fanciful, fun quality that made it seem like something out of a Barbie movie.
Desert Fury
In 2024, Mahindra unveiled the Earth edition, which featured the eye-catching Desert Fury colour choice, continuing its dedication to innovation and beauty. Mahindra brought Desert Fury to the Thar with the Earth Edition so it could be more integrated with its natural surroundings. The off-roader's habitat is a sandy beige tone with dune decals, which emphasises conquering arid terrain and adventure.
Mahindra currently sells the Thar in a selected selection of five colours: Red Rage, Deep Grey (previously Galaxy Grey), Stealth Black (formerly Napoli Black), Everest White, and Desert Fury. Each option demonstrates Mahindra's commitment to offering consumers with a varied selection of alternatives that cater to different interests and preferences.
