Tata Curvv Ev A Deep Dive Into The Accomplished S Variant

Tata Curvv EV: A Deep Dive into the Accomplished + S Variant

Tata Motors recently launched its much-anticipated Curvv EV SUV coupe. The car has created buzz and excitement in the Indian market in no time. Its exclusive exterior, interior, and powertrain options are undeniably attractive. The prices are expected to range from Rs 17.49 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and are likely to be Curvv EV is offered in five variants.

Among these, the Accomplished + S variant stands out as a popular choice, especially for those who prioritize a panoramic sunroof in their vehicle. Let’s take a closer look at what this variant has to offer.

Design That Commands Attention

The Accomplished + S variant is an enhanced version of the mid-spec Accomplished model, and it carries forward the same striking design elements that make the Curvv EV a head-turner. At the front, the vehicle features connected LED daytime running lights (DRLs) paired with LED projector headlights that give it a futuristic and sleek appearance. Sequential turn indicators add to the vehicle’s modern look, although it does miss out on the welcome and goodbye light animations that are becoming popular in many premium cars.

The vehicle sits on robust 17-inch alloy wheels, with blacked-out wheel arches that add to its rugged appeal. The sloping roofline, a signature of SUV-coupes, adds a sporty vibe to the vehicle, while the flush-fitted door handles contribute to its premium feel.

Moving to the rear, the Accomplished + S continues to impress with connected LED tail lights that enhance its sporty character. The upright stance and dual roof-mounted spoiler further underline the vehicle's athletic personality, making it a true visual treat from every angle.

Interior: A Blend of Comfort and Style

Step inside the Curvv EV Accomplished + S variant, and you’re greeted by a cabin that exudes a sense of luxury and space. The interior is dominated by a maroonish-red theme that adds a touch of sophistication. However, the standout feature of this variant is undoubtedly the panoramic sunroof, which not only floods the cabin with natural light but also amplifies the feeling of spaciousness—a big plus for those who enjoy an open and airy driving experience.

The dashboard and door handles feature contrasting silver accents, while the center console is adorned with piano black elements, adding to the premium vibe of the cabin. Comfort is taken care of with a front armrest and a central armrest for rear passengers, although it’s worth noting that the middle occupant at the rear doesn’t get a headrest, which could be a minor drawback for some.

Feature-Packed for the Modern Driver

When it comes to features, the Accomplished + S variant doesn’t disappoint. It comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ensuring that you stay connected on the go. A 10.25-inch digital driver’s display provides all the necessary driving information in a clear and concise manner, while an 8-speaker JBL audio system delivers immersive sound quality, making every drive a pleasure.

The vehicle is also fitted with multiple charging options, including 45W Type-C ports for both front and rear passengers, ensuring that your devices are always powered up. Additionally, a wireless smartphone charger and connected car technology via the Arcade.ev suite are included, offering a seamless and tech-savvy driving experience.

On the safety front, the Accomplished + S variant is well-equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, all-wheel disc brakes, and front and rear parking sensors. It also features a 360-degree camera system, electronic parking brake, blind spot view monitor, and a tire pressure monitoring system. However, it’s important to mention that the vehicle does not come with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which might be a consideration for those looking for the latest in safety technology.

Powertrain Options

The Accomplished + S variant is available with two battery pack options—45 kWh and 55 kWh. The 45 kWh battery is paired with a 150 PS/215 Nm electric motor, delivering a claimed range of 502 km on a single charge. On the other hand, the 55 kWh battery option comes with a slightly more powerful 167 PS/215 Nm electric motor, offering an impressive range of 585 km. Both options support DC fast charging, which can charge the vehicle from 10 to 80 percent in just 40 minutes, making it highly convenient for long-distance travel. However, if you’re using a standard charger, be prepared for a longer wait—17.5 hours for the 45 kWh battery and 21 hours for the 55 kWh battery to go from 10 to 100 percent.

Pricing and Competition

As for the pricing, the Accomplished + S 45 variant is priced at Rs 19.29 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Accomplished + S 55 variant comes in at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). These prices position the Curvv EV competitively against its rivals like the Mahindra XUV 400, while also serving as an electric alternative to popular SUV coupes such as the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.

In conclusion, The Tata Curvv EV Accomplished + S variant offers a compelling package for those looking to step into the world of electric vehicles without compromising on style, comfort, or features. With its eye-catching design, feature-rich interior, and impressive range of options, it stands out as a strong contender in the electric SUV market. Whether you’re drawn to its panoramic sunroof, tech-savvy features, or the sheer appeal of driving a stylish and eco-friendly vehicle, the Curvv EV Accomplished + S is worth considering for your next ride.
