Three Mahindra models have received price increases this month
Hikes range from roughly fifteen thousand rupees to nearly a lakh depending on the model
Mahindra has quietly nudged up prices across a good chunk of its portfolio this month, touching an electric SUV, a rugged ladder-frame workhorse, and one of its best-selling premium SUVs. None of the three cars have gained new features or mechanical changes in the process, so the revisions are purely about cost. For anyone eyeing a Mahindra purchase in the coming weeks, here is what has changed.
XEV 9S Now Costs Up To Rs. 70,000 More
The XEV 9S, Mahindra's only three-row electric SUV, sits on the same underlying platform as the BE 6 and XEV 9e, and is sold with three battery options offering different power outputs.
The Pack One Above trim has seen the steepest jump, going up by a full Rs. 70,000 across its 59kWh and 79kWh versions. The Pack Two Above trim is dearer by Rs. 60,000 on the 70kWh battery and Rs. 50,000 on the 79kWh battery, while every version of the Pack Three and Pack Three Above trims now costs Rs. 50,000 more.
With these changes, the SUV's ex-showroom range now runs from roughly Rs. 20.65 lakh to Rs. 30.70 lakh. Nothing about the vehicle's underlying hardware has shifted, and the top-spec 79kWh version continues to be a strong performer on long hauls, having previously returned over 500 kilometres on a single charge during testing.
Bolero Neo Gets Costlier By Up To Rs. 30,500
Mahindra's boxy, affordable ladder-frame SUV has also had its price sheet updated, with increases spread unevenly across the range. The entry-level N4 trim has picked up the smallest hike of Rs. 14,500, while the N8 trim is now pricier by Rs. 19,000.
Both the N10 (R) and N10 (O) trims have gone up by Rs. 29,500 apiece, and the range-topping N11 trim carries the largest increase at Rs. 30,500. The car remains mechanically unchanged, continuing with its 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that produces 100bhp and 260Nm of torque, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox sending power to the rear wheels. The Bolero Neo continues to sit just below the Scorpio Classic in Mahindra's SUV hierarchy, and remains one of the more wallet-friendly options in that segment.
XUV 7XO Priced Higher By Rs. 27,000 To Rs. 88,000
Rounding off the trio of updates is the XUV 7XO, which has had its ex-showroom prices raised by amounts ranging from Rs. 27,000 right up to Rs. 88,000, depending on variant.
Following the revision, the SUV's price band now stretches from Rs. 13.99 lakh to Rs. 25.79 lakh. As with the other two models, there is no change to what buyers actually get for their money. The SUV continues to be available with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 197bhp and up to 380Nm, alongside a 2.2-litre diesel unit good for up to 182bhp and 450Nm.
Both engines can be paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed torque converter automatic, depending on which variant a buyer chooses.
What This Means For Buyers
Taken together, these revisions suggest a broader recalibration of Mahindra's pricing rather than isolated, one-off changes to a single nameplate. Prospective buyers who have been sitting on the fence, particularly for the XEV 9S or XUV 7XO where the increases are more substantial, may want to factor in these updated figures before finalising a booking.
As always, actual on-road prices will vary by city once registration, insurance, and other local charges are added on top of the ex-showroom figures mentioned here.
