Is The Scorpio N 4x2 Petrol At Worth The Hype Our Honest Opinion

Is the Scorpio N 4x2 Petrol AT Worth the Hype? Our Honest Opinion

The Scorpio N 4x2 Petrol AT, with its robust design and automatic transmission, has generated considerable buzz. Our honest opinion? It's a compelling choice for those seeking a powerful and stylish SUV. The automatic transmission enhances driving comfort, while the Scorpio's iconic design adds flair. However, individual preferences and usage patterns play a crucial role. A test drive and consideration of personal needs are recommended to determine if the Scorpio N 4x2 Petrol AT aligns with your expectations and driving requirements.

Maruti scorpio N

Revved up and ready to go, the new Mahindra Scorpio N SUV has certainly captured the attention of many car enthusiasts like you. But with great hype comes great scrutiny. So, we took the 4x2 Petrol AT variant for a spin to find out if the Scorpio N lives up to its buzz. Here's our honest opinion.

The pros of Mahindra Scorpio N 4x2 Petrol AT

Dimensions

If you're looking for an SUV to make a statement on the road, the Mahindra Scorpio N might be your perfect match. This big daddy of the SUV world boasts impressive dimensions that will turn heads.

With a length of 4.662 mt, a width of 1.917 mt, and a height of 1.87 mt, the Scorpio N is a true giant among its peers. And with a ground clearance of 187 mm, you can tackle any terrain with ease.

Suspension

Mahindra has transformed the Scorpio's suspension from bouncy to comfortable, with new tech that includes a Pentalink WATT's linkage and Frequency-Dependent Dampner and FDS.

The suspension uses 35 per cent alloy components attached to the springs to help keep the car balanced during high-speed turns. This tech is visible on the road, making the Scorpio N a comfortable ride over long distances.

Technology

The new Mahindra Scorpio N is not just a big SUV with a powerful engine, but it's also a technology powerhouse. Some of the high-tech features that make this SUV stand out are:

  • The LED projector headlights
  • Foglamps
  • Electric sunroof and
  • Leather upholstery

If you're into off-roading, the 4X2 capability and three driving modes will have you covered. But that's not all - Mahindra has also thrown in some cool connected features like Alexa and Adrenox Connect. So if you're looking for an SUV that's as tech-savvy as you are, the Scorpio N is the one for you.

Engine

Now that we have touched the Engine, let's talk about what really matters - the power under the hood! With a whopping 202 horsepower, the engine on the Mahindra Scorpio N petrol AT packs a serious punch.

It's torquey and incredibly responsive, making it a joy to drive. Plus, the availability of an automatic gearbox makes it all the more convenient to use. Whether you're cruising down the highway or tackling tough terrain, this engine won't disappoint.

The cons of Mahindra Scorpio N 4x2 Petrol AT

While the new Mahindra Scorpio N has plenty of features to rave about, we have to admit that it's not entirely perfect. Like any other car, it has its own set of drawbacks. Here are some areas where the Scorpio N could use some improvement:

Lack of Utility Space

Driving the new Mahindra Scorpio N is a luxurious experience, but we have one small complaint: there's just not enough space for all our stuff! Sure, the cabin feels premium and the door pads are well-constructed, but they can only fit small items like water bottles and slim magazines.

And don't even get us started on the lack of phone holders - we had to resort to hiding our phones in secret pockets behind the seat covers. It's a shame that there isn't more utility space inside the cabin, especially when rivals like the Tata Safari offer more. Maybe Mahindra can add a few more nooks and crannies in the next model?

Lack of Essential Features

We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but we can't keep quiet about this - the Mahindra Scorpio N is missing some essential features that we just can't ignore. We're talking about no automatic IRVM, no seat ventilation, no charging ports, and no third-row AC vents.

It's like the car has all the bells and whistles, but forgot the things that actually matter. We mean, even smaller cars have ventilated seats now! Come on, Mahindra, you're better than this. Let's hope they step up their game for the next model.

Conclusion

While the new Scorpio N boasts a plethora of features, there are a few areas where it falls short. From the lack of utility space to missing essential features, the Scorpio N could benefit from some improvements. You can without any doubt go for it for the pros overweighs its cons.
