Platform and the Road Ahead for Nissan in India
The Gravite rides on the same platform as the Renault Triber, a fact that has helped keep it competitively positioned in the budget MPV space.
Looking further ahead, Nissan has a busy product calendar lined up. The Tekon, a mid-size SUV set to take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and others, is expected to arrive later in 2026. A three-row SUV is also in the pipeline, signalling that Nissan intends to build meaningful momentum in the Indian market after a lean few years.
For now, though, prospective Gravite buyers will need to factor in the revised figures before placing an order.
