The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq arrives with a meaningful price restructure, making the entry-level Lounge variant Rs 3 lakh more accessible than before.
ADAS technology makes its debut on the Kodiaq, available across the Sportline and top-spec Selection L&K variants, bringing a host of active safety features to the flagship SUV.
Skoda India has officially launched the 2026 model year version of the Kodiaq, and it comes with a few meaningful changes that make the flagship SUV a more compelling proposition than its predecessor.
Starting at Rs 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Kodiaq's headline addition is a full ADAS suite, a feature that buyers in this segment have increasingly come to expect. The base Lounge variant has also been repriced more attractively, making it easier for new buyers to step into Skoda's flagship.
A Revised Price Structure Across All Three Variants
The 2026 Kodiaq is offered in three variants, and the pricing has been shuffled rather noticeably. The base Lounge 5-seater now retails at Rs 36.99 lakh, which represents a substantial Rs 3 lakh reduction compared to before.
The mid-spec Sportline 7-seater, on the other hand, has gone up by Rs 1 lakh and now sits at Rs 44.99 lakh. The top-spec Selection L&K 7-seater sees a more modest Rs 50,000 increase, bringing it to Rs 46.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, India.
ADAS Makes Its Debut on the Kodiaq
The most consequential update for 2026 is the addition of an ADAS suite, which is offered on the Sportline and Selection L&K variants. The system brings a comprehensive set of active safety functions to the table, including adaptive cruise control, adaptive headlights, frontal assist with both warning and autonomous braking, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, rear traffic alert, and an exit warning system. It is a thorough package that significantly raises the safety credentials of Skoda's flagship offering in India.
Sportline Gets Features Previously Reserved for the Top Variant
Beyond ADAS, the Sportline variant has also been enriched with two features that were previously exclusive to the Selection L&K.
Buyers opting for the mid-spec variant will now find a 360-degree camera and a grille-embedded LED strip included as standard. This is a welcome addition, as it narrows the gap between the Sportline and the range-topper tangibly.
Powertrain Remains Unchanged
Skoda has not touched the mechanical setup for 2026. The Kodiaq continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 204hp, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
All-wheel drive comes fitted as standard across the range, keeping the Kodiaq well-suited for both urban commuting and occasional off-road excursions. It is a proven combination, and there is little reason to change what already works well.
The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq, then, is a sensibly updated version of an already capable SUV. The addition of ADAS, the welcome price drop on the entry variant, and the feature upgrade for the Sportline all point to Skoda listening closely to what buyers in this segment want.
