The new Carens would like to seat itself above the old model by offering families a more premium experience.
2025 Kia Carens: Exterior Touches and New Design
The 2025 Carens will be brought about a complete design refresh-in keeping with Kia's newest design vocabulary. You will find fresh new elements, including new headlamps as well as updates to LED daytime running lights (DRLs), as well as a remake of the front bumper for the front and rear.
The back part is adorned by new rear LED lamps as well as neat alloy wheels for a modern touch. With the changes mentioned above, access to a completely new look will get the Carens, while its general shape and silhouette will continue to be what you are used to, maintaining all practical and family-oriented dimensions.
2025 Kia Carens: What's Inside and New Features
Many of the new Carens features upgraded interiors that include a redesigned center console, new air conditioning vents, and fresh upholstery that apply a new color theme for the seat fabric. Star upgrades are likely to be a panoramic sunroof and two 12.3-inch digital screens as seen on the Kia Syros."
Safety would be a six-airbag offer with electronic stability control (ESC) and front and rear parking sensors as standard, besides a comprehensive set of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). A 360-degree camera is also expected to provide another measure for safety offerings.
2025 Kia Carens: Powertrain and Performance
Mechanically, there are no changes for the 2025 Carens in relation to the engine options. Still retained are:
A 1.5-litre petrol engine, naturally aspirated (113 bhp, 144 Nm) coupled to a 6-speed manual.
A 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (158 bhp, 253 Nm) paired to either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT.
A 1.5-litre diesel engine (115 bhp, 250 Nm) is paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Kia found in its market survey that about 58 percent of Carens buyers go for the petrol versions, while the auto and iMT demand just keeps on skyrocketing in this heavier urban traffic.
Out of the total car sales, 28 percent went to sunroof models, with an enormous 95 percent choosing the 7-seat version, proving once and for all that Carens is just a pure family MPV.
The 2025 Kia Carens is the vehicle that Kia hopes to ride on to further embed the company into the Indian mainstream MPV battlefield, with reinvented style, upgraded features and excellent mechanical capabilities.
