Kia Carens diesel excels as a comfortable, fuel-efficient family vehicle with strong mid-range torque, yet it is imperative to acknowledge that its performance is heavily dictated by your specific driving habits; specifically, while it offers excellent highway efficiency and ride quality, it is objectively prone to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) clogging in stop-and-go city traffic and can feel sluggish below 1,600 RPM.
