The country's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, had a total of 1,795,259 passenger vehicles sold in the domestic market for FY2025. Out of that total, CNG sales of Maruti happened to be around 6.20 lakh units, meaning 1 out of every 3 Marutis sold last year was a CNG vehicle. The company has also recorded a sturdy growth of CNG vehicles by 28 percent year-on-year.
