There have been more and more debates regarding the new Delhi EV Policy. Some of the proposals, if diplomatically phrased, are contentious and very difficult at the grassroots level. Considering the intricacy of the draft proposals, the Delhi Transport Department decided to extend the existing EV policy by additional three months after a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta last week.
