Which Mahindra Suv Ruled The Month Of March

Which Mahindra SUV ruled the month of March?

Mahindra has always been a tough competitor when it comes to SUV sales and manufacturing. The Leading SUV brand saw a steep rise in sales in March 2024 selling 40,631 units during this period, marking a substantial rise from the previous year's sales of 35,976 units. The company experienced a notable year-on-year growth of 13%, reflecting a positive trend in its sales performance. Explore further to check out the leading cars and their total sales.

Scorpio: The Leader

Mahindra’s leader of the pack has always been Scorpio. Mahindra Scorpio is not only embraced for its dusty looks but for a legacy that it has been carrying for decades now. The Scorpio range led Mahindra's sales, showing a remarkable year-on-year growth of 72% and solidifying its position as a customer favorite. The Scorpio model range, including the Scorpio-N and Scorpio Classic, emerged as the top performer for Mahindra in March.

The company reported impressive sales of 15,151 units for this model range which signifies a remarkable YoY growth of 72% from the 8,788 units sold in March 2023. Despite a slight MoM decrease overall, the Scorpio range has shown significant growth.

Bolero, XUV700 and XUV300 sales:

Mahindra's sales were also greatly boosted by the Bolero series and XUV700, both of which saw rises in sales year over year. As far as sales are concerned, The Bolero line, which includes the Bolero Neo, sold 10,347 units last month, trailing the Scorpio in sales. With a marginal MoM growth of 2%, this result represents an increase of 8% from the previous year.

The XUV700 and Thar witnessed unit sales of 6,611 and 6,049, respectively, contributing substantially to Mahindra's sales. YoY sales increases of 29% and 21%, respectively, were reported for these well-liked SUVs.

On the other hand, The XUV300 saw a significant decline in sales in March 2024, in contrast to the success of other models. During that time, Mahindra only sold 2,027 of these vehicles.

This data shows a significant YoY sales fall of 60% and an MoM decline of 51%. The XUV300's performance was subpar even if Mahindra's sales increased overall.

Mahindra's overall sales performance in March 2024 demonstrated a solid trajectory, despite individual model problems, suggesting a healthy prospect for the company. Mahindra's strategic concentration on well-liked models, such as the Bolero and Scorpio series, offers chances for market success and sustained growth, even though other models experienced sales reductions. In general, Mahindra has consistently emerged as a major force in the SUV industry.
