Which cars are expected to be Launched by February 2024?

Updates for the new model year, facelifts, and the arrival of an electric vehicle were among the many changes made to current car models in January 2024. The market is excitedly anticipating the release of three new automobile models as February approaches. They include the CNG-and automatic-transmission-equipped Tata Tiago and Tigor variants as well as a sportier version of the recently unveiled Hyundai Creta facelift. Now let's explore further.

Tata Tiago And Tiago NRG CNG AMT

Expected Price: Rs 7.10 Lakh Onwards

The Tata Tiago will soon have the option of an automatic gearbox, making it the first CNG hatchback available in India. The most recent update for the Tiago CNG was made in 2023 using Tata's twin-cylinder technology, which provides a functional boot space.

The 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine of the Tata Tiago with a 5-speed manual gearbox produces 73.5 PS and 95 Nm in CNG versions. The Tiago CNG will have the same 5-speed AMT option as the petrol version. The 5-speed AMT gearbox will also be available for the Tata Tiago NRG CNG, a tough-looking Tiago variant.

The Tata Tiago CNG comes pre-configured with features like an automated air conditioning system, a semi-digital driver's display, and a 7-inch touchscreen with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A tyre pressure monitoring system, a rear parking camera with sensors, and two front airbags are among the safety features.

Tata Tigor CNG AMT

Expected Price: Rs 8.40 lakh Onwards

The Tata Tigor CNG will become the first CNG automatic subcompact sedan in India when it is equipped with a 5-speed AMT gearbox, in addition to the sedan version of the Tiago CNG. The 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that powers the Tigor CNG and the Tiago together produces 73.5 PS and 95 Nm (when running on CNG). Since its launch, it has also been available with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Tigor CNG shares twin-cylinder technology with the Tiago CNG to provide a functional boot space. The Tigor CNG is equipped with an eight-speaker sound system, a semi-digital driver's display, automatic air conditioning, and a 7-inch touchscreen system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It has two front airbags, ABS with EBD, a tyre pressure monitoring system and a rear parking camera for added safety.

Hyundai Creta N Line

Expected Price: Rs 17.50 Lakh Onwards

After a thorough redesign, the Hyundai Creta now boasts improved features and new design elements. As a first for the India-spec SUV, Hyundai is getting ready to introduce the sportier N Line version of the Creta. After the i20 N Line and the Venue N Line, it will be Hyundai's third N Line model. Recent spy photos indicate that the Creta N Linewill have a different front fascia from the standard model. The same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque will power it, and in addition to the current 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DCT), a 6-speed manual gearbox may also be available. The Creta N Line will come with features like wireless phone charging, dual-zone air conditioning, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and two 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and the driver's display. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and six airbags are among the safety features that will be present.

It is anticipated that these three new models will go on sale in February 2024. In addition, well-known automakers like Hyundai, Kia, and Toyota, as well as luxury labels like Mercedes-Benz, will showcase their most recent products at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, which is set to take place from February 1st to the 3rd.
