VinFast Limo Green, the latest electric MPV from VinFast, is slated to launch in India.
Key details regarding its design, battery, internal arrangement, and how it fits into VinFast’s India expansion plan.
VinFast has officially stated that the Limo Green would make its India debut in February 2026. After the introduction of its VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in 2025, this will be the company's third product in the Indian market.
In addition to appealing to families, the MPV is anticipated to serve VinFast's larger goals. Shortly after its debut, the business hopes to launch its ride-hailing service in India, utilizing the Limo Green for fleet and individual usage.
Size, Exterior, and Design
The Limo Green has a distinctive, modern style that represents VinFast’s design language. It has a futuristic look thanks to a thin, full-width LED light bar with the brand's iconic "V-shaped" DRL pattern on the front. The grille is closed off a frequent design decision for electric vehicles and the bumper is contoured for aerodynamic efficiency.
From the side, the MPV’s large wheelbase, towering posture, and elegant bodylines accentuate utility and internal capacity. It measures about 4.74 metres in length, and sits on a wheelbase of around 2.8 metres, putting it in the size category of larger family SUVs and MPVs in India.
Flush door handles and likely 17- or 18-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels add to its smart, streamlined character. The MPV has a unified, contemporary appearance thanks to a connected LED tail-lamp at the back that spans the width of the car and mirrors the front's design.
Features, Seating, and Interior
Inside, the Limo Green stresses a minimalistic and practical cabin layout. Unlike typical cars, there’s no specialized instrument cluster behind the steering wheel; instead, important information is planned to be displayed via a heads-up display or central screen. The dashboard is simple, clutter-free, and dominated by a primary touchscreen interface.
The 2+3+2 seating arrangement, which has seven seats, is perfect for larger families or gatherings.
The India-spec version is likely to come with several modern conveniences, possibly including a 10.1-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected-car features, leatherette upholstery, keyless entry and push-button start, automatic climate control, and ample storage options.
On the safety front, equipment such as tyre pressure monitoring (TPMS), numerous airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and potentially even advanced driving assistance (ADAS) are expected, but final specifics will depend on the India-spec configuration.
Battery, Performance, and Range
Under the hood, or rather, under the floor, the Limo Green has a 60.13 kWh battery (as per the Vietnam-spec vehicle). It has 201 PS and 280 Nm of torque when paired with a front-mounted electric motor, which is sufficient for a whole family's comfortable interstate riding and smooth urban journeys.
With a claimed range of about 450 km on a full charge (NEDC cycle), it is one of the more powerful long-range electric MPVs that India is currently developing. The MPV has two charge options: 80 kW DC fast charging and 11 kW AC charging. According to reports, DC fast charging may increase battery life from 10% to 70% in roughly 30 minutes.
Where Limo Green Fits in India’s EV Landscape
The Limo Green will probably face competition from other new electric MPVs like the BYD eMax 7 and Kia Carens Clavis EV in India's expanding electric car industry.
With the support of a manufacturer growing its dealer network and a combination of range, space, and contemporary EV features, the Limo Green hopes to become a viable option for Indian families, ride-hailing fleets, or anybody else in need of a cozy, seven-seater EV with good practical usability.
