Tata Motors is poised to take center stage at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2024, unveiling a compelling lineup of eight models that promise to redefine the Indian automotive landscape. Set to unfold between February 1 and 3, 2024, the expo will be a showcase of cutting-edge technology and design innovation, with Tata Motors at the forefront.

1. Tata Nexon CNG:

Tata, already a formidable player in the CNG car space, is set to enhance its offerings with the introduction of the Nexon CNG. Following the successful incorporation of CNG in the Punch and Altroz in 2023, Tata aims to provide this eco-friendly option for the facelifted Nexon. The CNG kit will be paired with the SUV's 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, potentially offering both manual and AMT transmission choices.

2. Tata Safari Dark Concept:

Building on the success of the facelifted Tata Safari, the Dark Concept takes the SUV to a whole new level. Boasting a Red Dark edition with captivating red highlights throughout, this variant showcases blacked-out alloy wheels, grille, cabin theme, and exterior 'Dark' badges. The exhibit will also feature a cross-section display alongside the standard Safari, emphasizing its robust safety suite that earned it a stellar 5-star safety rating in Bharat NCAP crash tests.

3. Tata Curvv Concept:

As the latest addition to Tata's SUV lineup, the Curvv is set to make waves. Scheduled for a 2024 debut, this coupe SUV will be initially launched as an electric vehicle (EV) before introducing its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart. The Curvv EV is anticipated to offer multiple battery packs, providing an impressive claimed range exceeding 500 km. Meanwhile, the ICE version is expected to feature both petrol and diesel powertrains, showcasing Tata's commitment to versatility.

4. Tata Altroz Racer Concept:

Unveiled at Auto Expo 2023, the Altroz Racer Concept injects a sportier spirit into the Altroz hatchback. With cosmetic upgrades inside and out, this model is likely to adopt various feature updates seen in the facelifted Nexon. While the powertrain remains largely unchanged, there's a possibility of the inclusion of the Nexon's robust 120 PS turbo-petrol engine.

5. Tata Punch EV:

Tata's foray into electric mobility continues with the Punch EV, the first electric model based on the Acti.EV platform. This fresh design aligns with Tata's modern offerings such as the Nexon and Curvv. The Punch EV offers a range of battery pack options, with a claimed range of up to 421 km, making it a notable addition to Tata's electric vehicle portfolio.

6. Tata Nexon EV Dark:

Expanding the electric lineup, Tata presents the Nexon EV Dark edition. Evolving from the pre-facelift Nexon EV Max, this edition is based on the facelifted Nexon EV, featuring multiple styling updates, including blacked-out alloy wheels and an all-black cabin theme. While retaining its electric powertrain and feature set, the Nexon EV Dark adds a touch of sophistication to the electric vehicle segment.

7. Tata Harrier EV Concept:

A significant highlight of Tata's showcase is the Harrier EV Concept, providing a glimpse into the electric future of the Harrier. First unveiled at Auto Expo 2023, this concept will make its presence felt at the expo, potentially in an updated form that maintains a design and feature resemblance to the regular Harrier. With multiple electric powertrain options and a claimed range exceeding 500 km, the Harrier EV Concept aims to set new standards in the electric SUV segment. Notably, it will also offer the choice of an all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant, filling a longstanding gap in Tata's lineup.

These models collectively underscore Tata Motors' commitment to pushing boundaries in innovation, embracing electric mobility, and evolving design aesthetics. The Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 is undoubtedly the stage where Tata's vision for the future of mobility takes center stage. As automotive enthusiasts eagerly await this showcase, CarDekho will be at the forefront, delivering the latest updates and insights. Stay tuned for an immersive experience as Tata Motors unfolds its automotive prowess at the expo.
