The Skoda Kushaq facelift receives its first mid-cycle update since 2021, featuring revised lighting, a refreshed interior with a panoramic sunroof, and a new 8-speed torque converter automatic for the 1.0 TSI engine.
Set to be offered in five trims, with pre-bookings already underway.
The updated Kushaq is expected to be priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom), with prices officially confirmed on March 21, 2026.
Skoda has confirmed that prices for the updated Kushaq will be officially announced on March 21, 2026. The Czech carmaker first took the wraps off the facelifted model in January 2026, and with pre-bookings already open, deliveries are expected to follow shortly after the price reveal.
The updated SUV will be offered in five trims, namely Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo.
A Fresher Face Drawing Inspiration From the Kodiaq
The exterior of the Kushaq facelift takes clear design cues from the larger Skoda Kodiaq. Up front, the SUV now wears slimmer projector LED headlights with eyebrow-shaped DRLs, segmented LED elements on the grille, and LED fog lamps.
The silhouette gains up to 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails with a 50kg load-bearing capacity, and rugged black cladding around the wheel arches. At the rear, a set of connected LED tail-lights with illuminated 'Skoda' lettering, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a rear wiper and washer round off the revised look.
A Noticeably Upgraded Cabin With Several New Comfort Features
Panoramic Sunroof, Rear Seat Massage, and a Bigger Digital Display
Step inside and the changes become even more apparent. The dashboard layout is familiar, retaining a 2-spoke steering wheel and ambient lighting, but the 10.1-inch touchscreen now runs an updated interface, and the driver's display has grown to a larger 10.25 inches.
The facelifted Kushaq also introduces a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, and automatic climate control with rear vents. Most notably, it adds a segment-first rear seat massage function, a feature that is quite uncommon at this price point.
On the safety front, six airbags come fitted as standard across all variants, alongside a rear parking camera, front and rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror. It is worth noting, however, that a 360-degree camera and an ADAS suite are absent, features that a number of rivals in the segment now offer.
Engine Options and a Welcome New Gearbox
The 1.0 TSI Now Gets an 8-Speed Torque Converter Automatic
The Kushaq facelift carries forward the same two engine options. The 115hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol is now available with a new 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox in addition to the existing 6-speed manual. The more powerful 150hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol continues exclusively with a 7-speed DCT.
Expected Pricing and Segment Rivals
Skoda is expected to price the Kushaq facelift between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 19 lakh, ex-showroom, a range that puts it squarely in the thick of India's fiercely competitive midsize SUV segment. Once launched, it will go up against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Renault Duster, Tata Sierra, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, and the Citroen Aircross.
