2026 Renault Duster Launched in India at Rs 10.49 Lakh, Prices, Variants, Features and Delivery Timeline Explained

After a four-year absence, the Renault Duster nameplate makes a confident return to the Indian market. The thoroughly redesigned third-generation model arrives on Renault's new RGMP platform, bringing two turbocharged petrol options, a strong-hybrid powertrain due later in 2026, and a cabin that introduces Level 2 ADAS to the brand's India line-up for the very first time. Prices span Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 18.49 lakh across five variants, ex-showroom.

A full breakdown of the 2026 Renault Duster's pricing, variant line-up, powertrain choices, design highlights and feature set across trim levels. Everything you need to know about how and where to book the new Duster, how much the token amount is, and when to expect delivery.

The third-generation Renault Duster has gone on sale in India with a starting price of Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The range is spread across five trim levels, Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno Plus, and Iconic, with the flagship Iconic topping out at Rs 18.49 lakh. Renault also offers an Iconic Launch Edition as a sixth option for early buyers. Buyers who had pre-booked through Renault's R-Pass programme are eligible for savings of up to Rs 40,000, and the R-Pass window remains open until the end of March 2026. 2026 Renault Duster Variant-wise Price List (Ex-Showroom) Variant 1.0L Turbo-Petrol MT 1.0L Turbo-Petrol MT (R-Pass) 1.3L Turbo-Petrol MT 1.3L Turbo-Petrol MT (R-Pass) 1.3L Turbo-Petrol DCT 1.3L Turbo-Petrol DCT (R-Pass) Authentic Rs 10.49 lakh Rs 10.29 lakh — — — — Evolution Rs 11.69 lakh Rs 11.39 lakh Rs 12.99 lakh Rs 12.69 lakh Rs 14.49 lakh Rs 13.99 lakh Techno Rs 13.49 lakh Rs 13.19 lakh Rs 14.49 lakh Rs 14.19 lakh Rs 15.89 lakh Rs 15.49 lakh Techno Plus — — Rs 15.29 lakh Rs 14.99 lakh Rs 16.69 lakh Rs 16.29 lakh Iconic — — Rs 16.99 lakh Rs 16.59 lakh Rs 18.49 lakh Rs 18.09 lakh Iconic Launch Edition — — — Rs 16.79 lakh — Rs 18.29 lakh

Renault has also introduced a new subscription plan from April 2026, which requires no down payment and bundles on-road costs and servicing into a single monthly fee, with options to extend, return or purchase the vehicle at the end of the term. Two Turbo-Petrol Engines at Launch, Strong-Hybrid to Follow by Diwali 2026 The Duster is offered at launch with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol producing 100hp and 160Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual, alongside a larger 1.3-litre turbo-petrol developing 163hp and 280Nm, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic. A 1.8-litre strong-hybrid will follow later in the year, combining a 109hp petrol engine with a 49hp electric motor and a 20hp hybrid starter generator, delivering a combined system output of 160hp and 172Nm from a 1.4kWh battery pack. Bookings for the strong-hybrid have already exceeded current production capacity, according to Renault. Design Tailored for India with Rugged Character and Generous Proportions The India-spec Duster gets LED headlamps with eyebrow-shaped daytime running lamps that also serve as turn indicators, large 'Duster' lettering across the grille in place of the brand logo, rugged body cladding, functional roof rails rated at 50kg, and up to 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Ground clearance stands at 212mm, while boot space is rated at 518 litres. Cabin Technology Progresses Considerably from the Previous Generation The new Duster's interior features soft-touch materials throughout, dual digital displays and brushed silver finishes across the centre console, door panels and dashboard. Key appointments include a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera and a wireless charger. Variant-wise Features Reward Buyers Who Stretch the Budget Entry-level Authentic buyers receive LED headlamps and tail lamps, 17-inch wheels, a seven-inch TFT driver display and 35 safety features as standard. The Evolution adds a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, wireless connectivity and a rear-view camera, while the Techno and Techno Plus grades bring the electric panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, connected car technology and blind-spot monitoring. The range-topping Iconic completes the picture with 18-inch diamond-cut alloys, leatherette upholstery, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, multiple driving modes, 48-colour ambient lighting and Level 2 ADAS with 17 functions. Notably, the new Duster is the first Renault model sold in India to offer Level 2 ADAS. How to Book and When to Expect Delivery Bookings are open online via Renault India's official website and at authorised dealerships, with a token amount of Rs 21,000 required. Buyers will need to select their preferred variant, powertrain, gearbox option and colour at the time of booking. Deliveries for the turbo-petrol variants are scheduled to begin in April 2026, while strong-hybrid customers can expect their cars around November 2026. A Crowded Segment Awaits the Returning Duster The new Duster competes in the midsize SUV segment against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Tata Sierra, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq, among others. Given its aggressive entry pricing, a well-stocked feature list and the promise of a strong-hybrid option, the Duster is clearly positioned to make its mark count the second time around.
