Rishabh Pant, India’s superstar wicketkeeper and batter, suffered leg, head, and back injuries after his car collided with a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway this Friday. 25-year-old Pant was going to his home in Roorkee by driving himself. The doctors confirmed that currently, he is in stable condition.
A primary source confirmed that the accident occurred around 05:30 am when he reportedly lost control and hit the divider. The Mercedes-AMG GLE43 Coupe car immediately caught fire and was scorched within minutes.
After so much difficulty, the fire was controlled by the fire tenders. The cricket was taken to the Saksham Hospital, the nearest hospital on Delhi Road.
Many famous personalities tweeted about the speedy recovery of Rishabh Pant, including VVS Laxman, Suresh Raina, Virender Sehwag, Harsha Bhogle, Ricky Ponting, Melinda Farrell, and more.
Coming to his professional life, Rishabh Pant was out of India’s squad for the ODI and T20I series against Sri Lanka. However, there is no specific reason given by the BCCI if he was on rest, injured, or dropped.
