Car manufacturers in the Indian automotive industry face intense rivalry. Being a competitive market, one must continually change to stay at the top or, at the very least, in the good graces of the people. Innovations here are crucial for all manufacturers worldwide, not just those in India. Now, which is favourable, an existing model or launching a brand-new one? Being a company full of automotive enthusiasts, we are awaiting the cars' arrival in India in 2022.
Toyota Hilux
Although Toyota hasn't yet made the official powertrain specifications public, we expect two engines to be offered. The 150-horsepower 2.4L diesel engine that now powers the Innova would be the first. The cheapest models would be 2-wheel drives, and the higher-end models are anticipated to be powered by a 2.8L diesel engine with 204 horsepower. Toyota will include the best models of this engine, which is currently used in the Fortuner. Toyota has a distinctive look with a large hexagon-shaped front grille and LED DRLs pulled back. The wheel arches and powerful armour increase the truck's toughness. The well-cut tail lamps offer a flair, while the rest of the design is identical to a standard pick-up truck.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno
The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets 16-inch alloy wheels, LED projector headlamps, and LED fog lamps. Additionally, it includes a brand-new cruise control system and a head-up display (HUD) for crucial driver instruments that is a segment first. Rear AC vents, an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, and a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ HD infotainment screen with an Arkamys-tuned Surround Sense audio system are other new features. Six airbags, stability control, hill hold assistance, rear parking sensors, ABS, and EBD, are some of the most critical safety features. A new 360-degree camera is also included in the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno for improved manoeuvrability in confined situations.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza
The car's appearance is the first indication that it is a new generation upgrade rather than merely a facelift. Although it is divisive, we like it because it looks nothing like the old version. Even though all of its rivals in the market offered a sunroof starting with the mid-variants, Maruti Suzuki did not bother to install one. However, it appears that will soon change. The electric sunroof, which will debut on the 2022 Brezza, seems to be the first for a Maruti Suzuki car. This will be the first model to come standard with an electric sunroof.
Skoda Kodiaq
A 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine with 187bhp and 320 Nm of torque powers the updated Skoda Kodiaq. This powertrain is connected to a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission. The Skoda Kodiaq facelift's interior features a panoramic sunroof, a fully digital instrument panel, a two-spoke steering wheel, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SmartLink connectivity, three-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, an electric parking brake with an auto-hold feature, 12-way electrically adjustable front seats with cooling, heating, and memory functions, cruise control, and a 625W Canton.
