The last price increase for Comet EV stands at up to Rs 19,000. The highest, other than that, pertains to MG ZS EV, which is up to Rs 89,000. Last month, a few OEMs, like Honda Cars, Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Mahindra, and Tata, increased their prices.

Price increase: MG Hector
February 2025 MG Hector is MG's second-best car in India. The vehicle is available with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol option alongside a 2.0-litre turbo diesel option. The base transmission units are offered with 6MT / CVT and 6MT options. The prices of MG Hector have increased by up to Rs 45,000. Besides, all the variants have been increased not beyond the rupee in price.
Thus, the base variant Hector Style is still on sale at an earlier price of Rs13,99,800. The price of other petrol manual variants of MG Hector has gone up between Rs 33,000 to Rs 41,000. The petrol variants of Hector in manual gearbox are priced between Rs 13,99,800 and Rs 20,60,800.
Similarly, Hector petrol CVT variants have seen an increase in their prices from Rs 30,000 to Rs 39,000.
Prices were between Rs 17,71,800 and Rs 22,88,800. The highest variant is the Hector CVT petrol variant. In contrast, regarding Hector diesel variants, increases were between Rs 31,000 and Rs 45,000. The maximum in the case of the diesel Shine Pro variant is Rs 45,000. It now reaches Rs 18,57,800. The top-end variant of Hector diesel, Sharp Pro, is unaffected by the price hike. Its price remains at Rs 22,24,800.
Price Change of MG Comet EV February 2025
The third most successful of MG's rankers saw another price hike of Rs 12,000 to Rs 19,000. Even the base variant Executive comes on the heels of this list. Nevertheless, it still sells at the last week's price of Rs 6,99,800.
You will find Exclusive FC at the top end. Here, the highest price revision is for Rs 19,000, bringing the price to Rs 9,67,800. Other variants, Excite, Excite FC, and Exclusive, have experienced price hikes of Rs 12,000, Rs 17,000, and Rs 14,000, respectively.
MG Astor price hike February 2025 MG Astor is offered in two petrol engine variants, which will see the prices hiked up to Rs 24,000. The 110 PS 1.5-litre petrol engine comes with the option of a five-speed MT and CVT transmission. The more powerful 140 PS 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine has a six-speed AT transmission. The basic variant Astor still retains the previous price of Rs 9,99,800. The Sharp Pro manual variant saw a price increase of Rs 21,000, with a new price of Rs 15,20,800.
Prices for the Astor CVT variants have been raised by Rs 14,000 to Rs 24,000. The new price starts from Rs 14,46,800 and goes up to Rs 17,55,800. The still most expensive Savvy Pro Sangria DT 6-AT model costs Rs 18,34,800. The MT Blackstorm and Select Blackstorm CVT shuffle variants of the MG Astor have price hikes of Rs 13,000 and Rs 14,000, respectively. The new prices stand at Rs 13,77,800 and Rs 14,80,800.
MG ZS EV price hike February 2025
One of the oldest electric cars running on the territory of India is the MG ZS EV. It has suffered the worst hike in prices, but still, the base Executive variant will not change from the last price tag of Rs 18,98,000. The same can be seen for all the bigger variants, the Essence and Essence Ivory, which have hiked up to Rs 89,000.
Now these are priced at Rs 26,43,800 and Rs 26,63,800, respectively. MG Windsor EV price hike Its best-selling vehicle, the MG Windsor EV witnessed no hike, but the British carmaker has hiked its prices for its Windsor EV early this January. All three models of Windsor EV, Excite, Exclusive, and Essence, had gone up by Rs 50,000 for each. It had also hiked the BaaS, or battery as a service, rates from 3.5 per km to Rs 3.9 per km in January.
