Maruti Suzuki has initiated exports of its newly launched sporty compact SUV - Fronx. The first batch of 556 vehicles was shipped from Mundra, Mumbai and Pipavav Ports to destinations in Latin America, Middle East and Africa. The Fronx is offered in five trims and two engine options that come with three transmission options. The engine options include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit and a 1.0-litre Turbo Boosterjet. The transmission options include a manual and an AMT gearbox.
The car gets features like a nine-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a heads-up display, cruise control, an engine start-stop, a four-speaker with a two tweeter audio system, and a wireless charging pad.
The safety kit includes four airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, ESP, and hill hold assist to name a few. The car retails at a price of Rs. 7.46 lakh for the base model and the top model will set you back by Rs. 12.97 lakh, both prices are ex-showroom.
