Kia has received over 13,000 bookings for the Seltos facelift. Here are all the details.
Kia has received 13,424 bookings for the recently updated Seltos ever since the bookings were open on 14th July. Interested customers can book the SUV for a token amount of Rs. 25,000 at the nearest dealership or the official India website.
The company will prioritise existing Kia customers as a part of the ‘K-code' programme, which will ensure a shorter delivery time for existing Seltos owners who want an upgrade. The code can be generated on the official website or the MyKia app. Of the 13,000 bookings, 1,973 reservations were made by the “K-code” programme. The Seltos contributes to 50 per cent of the five lakh units sold in the country, making the SUV a significant product in the market.
The updated Seltos comes with features like a dual pane panoramic sunroof, ADAS suite, sequential LED turn indicators, 18-inch alloy wheels, connected tail-lamps, dual-zone climate control, two 10.25-inch screens integrated as one that consist a touchscreen infotainment unit and a digital driver dash, a 1.5-litre, turbo petrol engine that produces 158 bhp, new colour shades, beefy rear bumper, and redesigned front bumper with new grille among others.
The Kia Seltos takes on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor to name a few. The Kia India lineup offerings include the EV6, Carens, and Sonet.
