The Audi A3 is returning for the 2025 model year with some upgrades and modifications. Even though the car's exterior only has minor changes, such a new grille and slightly larger air intake, it still has a distinctive appearance, particularly at the back. The new A3 has a clean and contemporary appearance thanks to upgraded LED taillights and a redesigned bumper.
The interior of the cabin maintains its elegant style, complete with a touchscreen and digital display for a range of features like climate control and navigation. But there's a catch: a separate subscription is now required for some standard features like smartphone connectivity and adaptive cruise control.
You'll have to upgrade to the MMI navigation system in order to use more sophisticated features like the app store, which will increase the total cost of ownership.
In spite of these modifications, the general interior design stays mostly the same. There are additional lighting options to personalize the cabin's ambience, and the gear shifter has been simplified for a more streamlined appearance.
The Audi A3 will come with a variety of engine options under the hood, however exact specifications for the US market have not yet been announced. In Europe, consumers can anticipate options that accommodate varying tastes and driving requirements, such as a hybrid model.
Audi is launching the Allstreet as a new model in addition to the base A3, targeting buyers looking for a crossover-inspired look. With distinctive exterior features including a plastic trim around the wheel wells and a matte black grille, the Allstreet has a more rough look. It has a softer ride and greater adaptability for different driving situations since it sits marginally higher than the conventional A3.
Although the US market's pricing has not been revealed, the base model A3 in Europe is priced at about $39,000. At about $41,000, the Allstreet version is more expensive but comes with more amenities and fashion cues.
The subscription-based concept offered in Europe is still unclear as the Audi A3 gets ready to hit the US market in 2025. It remains to be seen if this strategy will be implemented, but it is certain that the A3 is well-positioned to provide drivers worldwide with a blend of performance, sophistication, and innovation.
