If You Are Planning To Buy A Car Maruti Suzuki Has Just Announced A Price Cut For Amt Variants

If you are planning to buy a car, Maruti Suzuki has just announced a Price Cut for AMT Variants

Maruti has always been taking special care of its customers, and this time A price reduction of Rs 5,000 has been announced by Maruti Suzuki for all of its automatic manual transmission (AMT)-equipped vehicles. Its two-pedal passenger cars will now be even more reasonably priced thanks to this change. AMT, or Auto Gear Shift (AGS), is an option that may be found on several models, such as the Swift, Baleno, Fronx, Ignis, Dzire, Alto K10, Celerio, Wagon R, and S-Presso.

Models Experiencing Price Reductions

All Maruti Suzuki AMT models are eligible for the price reduction. As of June 1, 2024, the updated prices are in force. At Rs 5.51 lakh, the Alto K10 VXi AGS, the least expensive AMT model, will now be available. The Baleno Alpha AGS, which is the most costly AMT model, will be priced at Rs 9.83 lakh (ex-showroom).

Sales Results for Maruti Suzuki Vehicles

In May 2024, Maruti Suzuki's sales of small and compact automobiles decreased. In contrast to the same period last year, the company's sales report states that it despatched 78,108 units of its small automobiles, a 6.6% decrease. Maruti Suzuki may have implemented the price reduction in response to the drop in sales to increase demand for its small and entry-level hatchbacks.

Next Steps for Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki plans to release some new models shortly. It has already introduced the brand-new Swift this year. It is anticipated that the next-generation Dzire subcompact sedan will go on sale closer to the holidays. Maruti Suzuki is anticipated to reveal the production version later this year as well of of its first electric SUV, which was showcased in concept form as the EVX. The electric SUV is likely to go on sale in India early in 2025.

Overall, The goal of Maruti Suzuki's price reduction for AMT versions is to lower the cost of its two-pedal passenger automobiles. The updated rates will take effect on June 1, 2024. The change is anticipated to increase demand for Maruti Suzuki's compact and entry-level hatchback models, whose sales fell in May 2024.
