Hyundai Announces Hardik Pandya As Its Brand Ambassador For Hyundai Exter

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced cricket player - Hardik Pandya as its brand ambassador for Hyundai Exter.

Commenting on the occasion, Hardik Pandya, said, “I am really excited to partner with Hyundai for their new and highly anticipated SUV - the Hyundai EXTER. I am very passionate about cars and this SUV fits into my style perfectly. It is spacious and stunning inside, dynamic on the outside and loaded with all that you need to venture outside. From its bold stance to its thrilling drive, this one is a real game changer. I am sure India will fall in love with the Hyundai Exter.”

The car comes with features like a 2.31-inch LCD dash cam that will even respond to voice commands. The dashcam unit will come with a dual-camera setup, both front and rear, with smartphone connectivity and multiple recording modes: Driving (Normal), Event (Safety) and Vacation (Timelapse). It supports HD recording from both front and rear cameras.


The car will also come with six airbags as standard, and the company has started accepting bookings for its upcoming SUV for a token amount of Rs. 11,000. Other safety features include electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill assist control, 3-point seat belt and seatbelt reminder(all seats), ABS with EBD, burglar alarm, dashcam with a dual camera, TPMS, ISOFIX, headlamp escort function, rear parking camera and more.

The Hyundai Exter will be offered in seven trims: EX, EX (O), S, S (O), SX, SX (O), and SX (O) Connect. The Hyundai Exter will also be offered in a CNG guise for the S and the SX trim.

The Exter is likely to be offered with a 1.2-litre, four-pot, naturally aspirated petrol engine churning 83 bhp and 114 Nm of torque, and the CNG engine could be making 69 bhp and 95 Nm torque. The Exter will likely be offered with manual or automatic gearbox options. The CNG guise might be equipped with a five-speed manual only.

The Hyundai Exter could be offered in six single-tone colour options: Cosmic Blue, Atlas White, Fiery Red, Starry Night, Ranger Khaki, and Titan Grey. Three dual-tone paint job options are available: Cosmic Blue with Abyss Black, Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black, and Atlas Black with Abyss Black. The Hyundai Exter will lock horns with the likes of the Nissan Magnite, Citroen C3, Renault Triber and Tata Punch to name a few.
