Harley Davidson has revealed the upcoming X 440 Roadster.
The company has revealed a set of images showing the how bike looks, it gets a round headlamp unit with the badging integrated within the headlamp housing, a flat handlebar, a side-slung exhaust, machined alloy wheels, round retro-styled indicators, among other features.
The bike gets a USD fork up front and twin rear shocks at the rear with disc brakes on both wheels. It is likely to get dual-channel ABS and side stand engine cut-off feature as well. It is also expected to have Bluetooth tethering and turn-by-turn navigation.
The bike will be powered by a 440-cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is likely to make over 35 bhp of power and over 40 Nm of torque, making it a decently powered machine for the urban roads and the occasional highway stints. The images show that the bike comes with MRF tyres, probably measuring 17 or 18 inches. The image shows a single-piece seat on the saddle with a sculpted section for the rider.
We can expect a price tag north of Rs. 2.5 lakh and the production model can be different than the one seen in the images. This will lock horns with the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Meteor 350, and Honda Highness 350 to name a few.
