New Mahindra Thar.e Concept To Be Unveiled On 15th August, Teaser On YouTube Channel
Mahindra is all set for the global reveal of the all-electric Thar concept - Thar.e, the company will premiere the concept in Cape Town, South Africa on 15th August. The teaser featured “Re.born Electric” and “Thar.e” lettering, which indicates that the new Thar.e concept will share few elements with the Mahindra’s Born Electric SUV concepts, such as the motor and battery packs.
The teaser also showed tow hooks located on the bumper, square shaped DRLs, and headlamps. The powertrain details are yet to be disclosed, but we can expect a dual-motor layout with a sizable battery pack with an output of 70-90 kWh.
We can also expect an entry level guise which uses a single motor setup. The new and upcoming Thar.e is likely to have an electronic off-road suite with multiple drive modes. The production of the same can be expected by 2025.
