2024 Skoda Scala and Kamiq breaks cover, models available in three trim options
Skoda India has revealed the 2024 Kamiq and Scala, both get updates for the engine and design. Both models now sport a redesigned grille, bumper, headlamp unit and tail light setup. Both models are offered with nine paint job options, six interior design options and three trims - Essence, Selection, and Monte Carlo. The company is offering matrix LED headlamp setup as an optional along with new alloy wheels.
The interiors design for both the cars take inspiration from the Enyaq SUV, the upholstery and other parts are made from recycled materials. The center console has been tweaked for a fresh look. Other noteworthy mentions include an 8.25-inch infotainment unit, sport seats, LED ambient lighting, and Type-C USB ports to name a few. The optional offerings include a 10.25-inch virtual cockpit and a 9.2-inch infotainment display.
The 2024 Skoda Scala and Kamiq get two engine options - a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo petrol unit. The former produces 93 bhp of power and and the former is good for 147 bhp of power. The 1.0-litre unit comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission and the 1.5-litre engine gets a choice of both manual and automatic gearbox.
