The new KTM 390 Duke looks more aggressive and the displacement has also gone up
The 2024 KTM 390 Duke has been revealed by the company along with the 250 Duke and the 125 Duke. All the models come with new design, sharper styling and new kit.
The new features include new boomerang shaped DRLs with redesigned LED headlamps, muscular tank with extended tank shrouds, redesigned tank panels, new split seat setup with wider seat, exposed rear subframe, side mounted monoshock, underbelly exhaust and a new rear section that has been designed aggressively. The grab rails seem to have been integrated neatly below the rear seat.
The bike now houses a 399-cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine that will come mated to a six-speed gearbox.
We can expect new features like launch control, multiple ride modes, turn-by-turn navigation, revamped 5-inch TFT dash along with Bluetooth tethering and phone notifications.
Suspension duties are handled by 43 mm USD forks with 150 mm of travel and a side mounted monoshock. Braking is done by 320 mm disc up front and a 240 mm disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS. And the bike runs on 17-inch alloy wheels wearing Michelin rubber.
We can expect the bike to make it to India by early 2024 along with a price hike of Rs. 35,000-40,000 over the current retail price.
