Hero has updated the Xtreme 200S 4V with mechanical upgrades and new graphics.
The 2023 Hero Xtreme 200S 4V has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom), it gets four valves, fresh colour shades, and decals. The Xtreme 200S 4V is powered by a 199.6 cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled, four-valve, OBD.2 compliant engine that comes mated to a five-speed gearbox that produces 19 bhp of power at 8000 rpm and 17.35 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The company says that the power has been hiked by six percent and the torque has also been bumped by five percent in comparison to the outgoing model.
The updated Hero Xtreme 200S 4V retains the outgoing silhouette while adding three new colour shades: Panther Black Metallic, Moon Yellow, and Stealth Edition. And adding new decals on the fairing, body panels, fuel tank, and rear seat panels. In terms of features, the bike gets a fully digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, clip-on handlebars, and all LED lighting. The bike comes shod with 17-inch wheels on both ends with a single petal disc on both sides with single-channel ABS. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a mono-shock with preload adjustability at the rear.
The Hero Xtreme 200S 4V locks horns with the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer SF, Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS, and 220 F to name a few.
