When launched in 2019, Renault Triber was made available with the 1.0L BS4 engine with a single manual gearbox option. In the following year, the same engine was upgraded to comply with BS6 norms. The three-cylinder engine produces 72PS and 96Nm torque, synced with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox.
Though the engine lacks the needed punch, for an average driver, it strikes a nice balance between power and fuel efficiency. Also, the NVH levels could have been better as the engine is loud and vibrations can be felt inside.
In terms of fuel economy, it does come off with flying colours as the BS6 manual variant offers 19kmpl, and the AMT versions offer a mileage of 18kmpl.
