Volvo has now brought out the S90 facelift, and this is quite a comprehensive change to the flagship luxury sedan. The Volvo S90 facelift receives a very good overhaul, coming along as the second major change to the model in its lifecycle since it first came into being in 2016. The new S90 also carries more features, such as a new generation user interface.
New Features
The new S90 has received an edgier-looking exterior from its predecessor, in line with the XC90 facelift that recently made it to the Indian market. The SUV gets a new front, with a larger grille with the angular chrome slats, while the headlamps are slimmer and sharper and sport the signature Thor's Hammer LED DRLs with Matrix-design LED technology.
This also features a new sculpted bonnet and restyled front bumper for a fresher appearance for the model. The rear sports redesigned LED taillamps that follow the pattern on the front DRLs. Also, there are new diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The interior features the same layout as before; however, a new 11.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system has taken the place of the older one. The new unit comes with a new interface that features over-the-air software updates, while Volvo improved the soundproofing as well.
Volvo has introduced a new adaptive suspension on the S90 facelift that aims to make the ride as comfortable as ever. Other features include Pilot Assist, which has many self-driving technologies in the car.
Powering the Volvo S90 facelift is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) motor and a mild-hybrid four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The PHEV unit promises to go 80 km (WLTP) on electric propulsion alone. Final specifications regarding the engine options have not been disclosed by the company.
