Hyundai is preparing to introduce the second-generation version of Venue, one of its most appealing sub-compact SUVs, and the last spy shots have shown us the overall impression of what to expect on the inside. The spotted test with the camouflage new Venue presents another distinct sign of the complete interior overhaul, a change in the design of the steering wheel.
New Steering Wheel Indicates Another Biggie Interior Change
It is also seen to sport a fresh steering wheel design in the form of spy shots, which is pretty similar to the one on the upcoming Creta EV. It does not have the centre silver trim seen on the electric Creta, but it has squarish control pods structured the same way.
This modification is a strong sign to indicate that Hyundai will be ready with a different dashboard arrangement, and also with an updated center console to update the cabin of the Venue to match its competitors.
Even though the dashboard will be heavily camouflaged, the improvements that Hyundai enthusiasts will see in the Venue include a bigger touchscreen infotainment system and perhaps one that will be 10.2 inches, fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof in an effort to make the Venue more luxurious than ever.
Anticipated Powerplants and Performance Modeling
Owing to mechanical reasons, the second-gen Venue may even stick to the existing engine choices that are:
1.2L naturally aspirated petrol (manual only)
1.0L turbo petrol (with iMT and DCT options)
1.5L diesel engine (paired with both manual and automatic transmissions)
Besides the expected standard trims, Hyundai is also likely to retain the N Line trim, which will be sportier in tuning based on the suspension, dual exhaust pipes, and red accents, with the sole engine onboard being the 1.0L turbo-petrol unit.
Anticipated Time of Release
The Hyundai Venue next gen is expected to be introduced in the festive season 2025. Upon launch, it will rekindle the fight with Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, and Mahindra XUV 3XO among others in the fiercely competitive sub-4 metre SUVs segment. Hyundai is likely to have the biggest grip in the category with this forthcoming update.
