The Exter, Hyundai Motor India's upcoming micro SUV, has been officially debuted. The company's smallest SUV, the all-new Hyundai Exter, will be placed below the Venue in its lineup. For a nominal fee of Rs 11,000, pre-orders for the same are now being accepted. You can make a reservation on the company's official website or by visiting your nearest Hyundai dealer.
Design and Levels Available
There will be five trim levels available for the upcoming Hyundai Exter: EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect.
Exterior
The Hyundai Exter has modern features like DRLs and projector headlights mounted on the bumper, which makes it stand out from other Hyundai models. It also has a unique, boxy design that gives it a cool yet powerful appearance. The Exter will have diamond-cut alloy wheels, all-around body cladding, and front and rear skid plates. It will also likely have a good number of amenities and fundamental safety features.
Interior
The Korean automaker has not yet revealed the interior of the vehicle, but we anticipate it to include contemporary amenities and technology, such as a larger touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, and connected technology for the SX (O) connect trim.
Engine
A 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine, which also powers the Grand i10 Nios, will power the Hyundai Exter. When combined with an AMT and a 5-speed manual gearbox, this engine will produce a maximum torque of 113 Nm and 82 bhp. A bi-fuel CNG option will also be available for the Hyundai Exter.
