Maruti Suzuki has revised the prices of select Alto K10 variants alongside other models in its lineup due to rising operational costs.
A price hike of ₹2,500 applies to select petrol manual, petrol automatic and CNG variants, while entry-level pricing remains unchanged at ₹3.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki has revised the prices of its entire model range this month, with the Alto K10 also receiving a price update. The revision comes amid rising operational costs and affects selected variants of the hatchback.
Alto K10 Price Revised by ₹2,500
The latest update applies to four Alto K10 variants. These include the VXi (O) petrol-manual, LXi (O) CNG, VXi (O) petrol-automatic and VXi (O) CNG variants. Each of these versions has received a ₹2,500 price hike.
Despite the revision, the starting price of the Alto K10 remains unchanged. The STD (O) petrol-manual variant continues to cost ₹3.70 lakh, ex-showroom.
At the other end of the range, the VXi Plus (O) automatic is now priced at ₹5.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This gives buyers a choice between manual and automatic petrol versions, along with CNG variants.
New Alto K10 Petrol and CNG Prices
The price revision is limited to selected variants, so the entire Alto K10 range has not received the same increase. The base STD (O) variant, for example, continues at its earlier price of ₹3.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
Selected Alto K10 Price Range
| Variant | Updated Ex-showroom Price |
|---|---|
| STD (O) | ₹3.70 lakh |
| LXi (O) CNG | ₹4.85 lakh |
| VXi (O) CNG | ₹5.35 lakh |
| VXi Plus (O) Automatic | ₹5.50 lakh |
Alto K10 Rivals
The Alto K10 remains positioned in the entry-level hatchback segment, where it competes with models such as the Renault Kwid and the recently updated Tata Tiago facelift.
With the latest revision, the affected Alto K10 variants are ₹2,500 more expensive. The entry-level STD (O) variant, however, continues to be priced at ₹3.70 lakh ex-showroom.
