The new Mercedes-AMG GLC breaks cover and it gets a new design
Mercedes has introduced the new flagship AMG GLC 64 S e-Performance with new design and a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine coupled to a 203 bhp motor and a 6.1 kWh battery that produces a strong 679 bhp of power and 1020 Nm of peak torque. The SUV is claimed to do a 0-100 kmph sprint in 3.5 seconds and the top speed is capped at 274 kmph. The company claims that the AMG GLC 63 S e-Performance has an electric range of 12 km.
The base model AMG GLC 43 4Matic uses a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine coupled to a 13 bhp belt driven starter that makes a combined output of 420 bhp at 6,750 rpm and 499 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The company claims a 0-100 kmph dash in 4.8 seconds.
The feature list includes black Nappa leather upholstery, four-wheel drive, AMG Dynamics, AMG Ride Control, AMG exhaust system, sports braking system, and active rear steering among others. Exterior features include AMG-specific grille, sporty air dams, quad exhaust tips with gloss black treatment, and a roof integrated spoiler. The AMG GLC 63 S E comes with AMG specific 21-inch matte black wheels with yellow brake calipers.
