Know the key exterior and interior changes that define the Mahindra XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition as a special variant.
It also details the powertrain specifications and the full feature suite that comes as part of this limited offering.
The Mahindra XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition has officially started arriving at dealerships across the country, giving prospective buyers their first opportunity to see the special variant up close.
Announced on March 01, 2026, and priced at Rs. 29.35 lakh (ex-showroom), the car opened for bookings the following day, with deliveries commencing from March 10. It is positioned as a more indulgent take on the XEV 9e, which has already established itself as a popular choice in India's luxury electric SUV space.
Two Exclusive Satin Paint Options Set the Cineluxe Edition Apart on the Outside
The most immediately noticeable difference with the Cineluxe Edition is its pair of new exterior finishes, available exclusively in Satin Black and Satin White. These matte-effect shades give the SUV a quieter, more understated presence compared to the standard colour palette.
Beyond the paint, exterior changes are minimal and intentional. A Cineluxe badge on the rear quarter panel serves as the only other visual differentiator, keeping the overall appearance clean and confident.
A Cabin Designed Around Comfort, Atmosphere and Technology
New Interior Colour Theme and Upholstery
Step inside and the changes become far more apparent. The Cineluxe Edition introduces a Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black smooth-grain leatherette interior, a combination that gives the cabin a warm, lounge-like quality. The two tones work together to make the space feel considered rather than clinical, which is a thoughtful shift for a car that already comes with a generous equipment list.
The Full Pack Three Feature Set Comes as Standard
Built on the top-specification Pack Three Select variant, the Cineluxe Edition carries the complete technology offering without compromise. This includes a coast-to-coast triple HD display, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, and an Infinity Roof with ambient lighting that offers over 16 million colour options.
Practical conveniences such as 65W Type-C charging ports, a panoramic sunroof, and a comprehensive ADAS suite are all present as well.
The technology goes further with the StraightAhead VisionX augmented reality heads-up display, EyeDentity Driver and Occupant Monitoring, HandsFree Park (Auto Park Assist), and Secure360 Pro. There are also thoughtfully added features, including Camp, Keep and PawPal HVAC modes, Custom Drive Modes, Digital Key, and personalised user profiles.
Powertrain Figures Remain Unchanged From the Standard XEV 9e
Under the skin, the Cineluxe Edition uses the same mechanical setup as the regular XEV 9e. Power comes from a 79 kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor producing 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. Mahindra claims a range of 656 km on a single charge, with real-world figures quoted at over 500 km, making it a practical proposition for long-distance travel.
The XEV 9e was globally unveiled in November 2024 and has since won the Green Car of the Year award at ICOTY 2026, among several other accolades. The Cineluxe Edition builds on that foundation without altering what already works.
