Skoda Kushaq Facelift Launched in India at Rs 10.69 Lakh.

Skoda has introduced the Kushaq facelift in India, bringing with it a sharper exterior, a brand-new eight-speed automatic gearbox, and a host of segment-first features, including rear seat massage. Priced from Rs 10.69 lakh, the updated SUV arrives in five variants and continues to make a strong case for itself in one of India's most competitive segments.

  • The Skoda Kushaq facelift arrives with notable design changes, a new eight-speed torque converter automatic, and a segment-first rear seat massage function.

  • The updated SUV is offered in five variants, priced between Rs 10.69 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Skoda has officially launched the Kushaq facelift in India, marking a significant mid-lifecycle refresh for one of the brand's most important models in the country. Unveiled on March 21, 2026, the updated SUV brings meaningful changes across its design, feature list, and powertrain options, while retaining the solid fundamentals that made the original a popular choice.

A Sharper Look That Commands Attention

The facelift treatment on the Kushaq is immediately apparent at the front. There is now a bold new grille finished with sporty red stripes, flanked by all-new LED headlights that give the SUV a noticeably more confident stance.

A connected front light bar ties the front end together, while at the rear, connected LED taillights now feature illuminated Skoda lettering, adding a premium touch after dark.

A new angular faux skid plate and redesigned alloy wheels, now standard across every variant, round off the exterior changes rather nicely.

The Monte Carlo Gets Its Own Identity

The Monte Carlo variant, sitting at the top of the range, swaps out chrome for gloss-black trim elements throughout and carries distinctive Monte Carlo badging to set it apart from the rest of the lineup.

New Gearbox and Engine Options Worth Noting

One of the headline mechanical changes is the introduction of a new eight-speed torque converter automatic, which replaces the older unit and is available with the 115 hp 1.0 TSI engine. This engine also comes paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. The more potent 150 hp 1.5 TSI continues with a seven-speed DSG and features Active Cylinder Technology for improved fuel efficiency.

Claimed fuel economy figures stand at 19.66 kpl for the 1.0 TSI manual, 19.09 kpl for the automatic, and 18.72 kpl for the 1.5 TSI DSG.

A Cabin That Punches Well Above Its Price

Step inside, and the Kushaq facelift offers a noticeably upgraded experience. A 10.25-inch digital driver's display and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay take centre stage.

Higher variants get a panoramic sunroof, while every variant in the range comes with an electric sunroof as standard. The air-conditioning system has also been improved for better cooling performance.

Rear Seat Massage Leads the Feature Charge

Perhaps the most talked-about addition is the segment-first rear seat massage function, which operates on the lower and middle regions of the back. It is a feature you would typically find in far pricier vehicles and its inclusion here is a genuine statement of intent from Skoda.

Safety and Ownership Assurance

The Kushaq carries its five-star Global NCAP safety rating into the facelift, and every variant comes fitted with six airbags as standard. There are 25 active and passive safety features across the range, rising to 40 on top-spec models.

Buyers also benefit from a four-year or one lakh kilometre warranty, four years of round-the-clock roadside assistance across India, and four labour-free services within the first two years.

Variant-Wise Pricing at a Glance

The Kushaq facelift is offered in five trims. The entry-level Classic Plus runs from Rs 10.69 lakh to Rs 12.69 lakh, followed by the Signature at Rs 14.59 to 15.59 lakh and the Sportline at Rs 14.74 to 15.74 lakh.

The Prestige occupies the Rs 16.79 to 18.79 lakh bracket, while the Monte Carlo tops the range at Rs 17.89 to 18.99 lakh.

*All prices are ex-showroom.
