BYD India has opened bookings for the Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition at Rs. 70,000, with exclusive benefits available only to the first 1,100 customers until April 30, 2026.
The special edition introduces a new Tahiti Blue interior colour, a complimentary 11kW home charger, two years of free service and maintenance, and an extended eight-year low-voltage battery warranty backed by lithium iron phosphate technology.
A year into its journey on Indian roads, the BYD Sealion 7 has marked the occasion with a First Anniversary Edition. BYD India announced the opening of bookings on March 17, 2026, with the booking amount fixed at Rs. 70,000. The occasion marks a notable chapter for what has consistently been positioned as the brand's flagship electric performance SUV in the country.
Variant Pricing and Booking Window for the Anniversary Edition
The First Anniversary Edition carries forward the same two-variant structure as the standard model. The Premium variant, running on an 82.56kWh battery, is priced at Rs. 49.40 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Performance variant with the same battery capacity is on offer at Rs. 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Bookings are open from today, and the special offers tied to this edition are valid only for bookings confirmed until April 30, 2026.
Exclusive Benefits Reserved for the First 1,100 Customers
The real draw of this anniversary edition is the ownership package that accompanies it, though only the first 1,100 buyers will be able to claim it. Each of these customers receives a complimentary 11kW home charger along with its professional installation, addressing one of the more practical concerns that tends to accompany early EV adoption.
Two years of free service and maintenance have also been bundled in, making the overall cost of ownership noticeably more attractive during the initial period.
An Extended Low-Voltage Battery Warranty That Goes Beyond the Standard
Anniversary edition customers will additionally benefit from a first-in-class low-voltage battery using lithium iron phosphate technology. The warranty on this unit has been stretched to eight years or 1,50,000km, a meaningful upgrade over the standard six-year coverage offered on regular variants at the same distance threshold.
For buyers who plan to hold on to their vehicle over the long term, this extended protection adds a quiet but significant layer of confidence.
Tahiti Blue Interior Colour Adds a Distinctive Touch to the Cabin
The anniversary edition also receives a new Tahiti Blue interior colour theme, bringing a premium and futuristic quality to the cabin environment. The choice of colour sits comfortably within the Sealion 7's ocean-inspired design language, which has defined the vehicle's visual identity since it first arrived in India.
Rather than overhauling the interior entirely, BYD has opted for a considered update that refreshes the experience without compromising its original character.
Commenting on the occasion, Rajeev Chauhan, Vice President of the electric passenger vehicle business at BYD India, noted that the Sealion 7 represents the next generation of performance electric SUVs, bringing together advanced technology, distinctive design, and everyday practicality. He added that the enhanced benefits, particularly the extended low-voltage battery warranty, were intended to strengthen the case for premium electric mobility among Indian buyers.
