According to the trims and variant information, as told by Kia, Syros will not be launched with a creme de la creme X Line trim. This trim will launch later, with stealthy dark colors that will appeal to buyers more. Glacier White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Imperial Blue, Intense Red, Pewter Olive, Frost Blue, Sparkling Silver, and Gravity Grey are now assigned to Syros.
More Information on Kia Syros X Line
Kia will probably offer the Syros X Line with Aurora Black Pearl and Matte Graphite shades, similar to the Sonet X Line. The top-spec HTX+ (O) trim from Syros will serve as its foundation; Kia employs a similar tactic with its Indian lineup. Kia has yet to mention an exact timeframe for the launch of the Syros X Line. A launch around the festive season would be the best guess anyone can take.
When launched, the Kia Syros X Line will take on other special editions based on rival Sub 4m SUVs. The Hyundai Venue N Line, Venue Knight Edition, Venue Adventure Edition, and the original Tata Nexon Dark Edition are the main contenders. Stealthy and dark exterior color along with a few X Line-specific badges on the inside and out, will be the primary highlights of this trim.
Expectations from Kia Syros X Line
Knowing that Syros doesn’t get a GT Line, car lovers might see a new alloy wheel design for the Syros X Line. The 30-inch Trinity Display, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto and ventilated front and rear seats, rear sliding and reclining seats, a motorized driver's seat, and Level-2 ADAS are some of Syros' primary advantages, more attributes seen on HTX+ (O) will also be offered with Syros X Line.
Conclusion
In terms of powertrains, Syros X Line is probably going to have the same setups as HTX+ (O). A 1.5L turbo diesel engine coupled to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox or a 1.0L GDI turbo gasoline engine coupled to a 7-speed DCT. Depending on consumer reaction, the launch may take place well in advance of the festive season or around it.
