Hyundai India's Sales Report for November 2025

Thanks mostly to high demand for its SUV line, Hyundai Motor India performed steadily in November 2025. As one of the most well-liked mid-size SUVs in the nation, the Creta maintained its position at the top of the brand's sales ranking. Additionally, the recently opened Venue got off to a great start, boosting total volumes. Sales of some hatchbacks and sedans continued to be under pressure due to shifting consumer tastes, despite exports showing strong growth.

  • Important winners like Creta and the recently opened Venue are fueling expansion

In November 2025, Hyundai Motor India reported 66,840 vehicles sold overall, a 9.1% increase over the previous year. While exports increased significantly by 26.9% with 16,500 vehicles exported overseas, indicating strong demand abroad, domestic sales were 50,340 vehicles, up a little from the previous year.

Monthly domestic sales were somewhat lower than in October 2025 despite these annual gains, suggesting a normal post-festive decline in consumer purchases.

Hyundai's growth is led by the SUV segment

With 17,344 sales in November, the Hyundai Creta continued to be the best-selling car. When compared to November 2024, this figure showed a double-digit rise, indicating a high consumer preference for mid-size SUVs.

New Location Off to a Successful Start

Shortly after its debut, the all-new Hyundai Venue kept gaining traction. With 11,645 sales in November and a roughly 19% year-over-year growth, it became the second most popular Hyundai model for the month.

Over 32,000 reservations were made within a month of Venue's launch, demonstrating the high level of interest in the updated small SUV.

Mixed Outcomes for Other Models

Hyundai's SUVs outperformed a variety of hatchbacks and sedans. Traditional hatchbacks like the Grand i10 Nios and i20 witnessed a decline in sales from the previous year, while the Aura sedan did rather well with roughly 5,731 units sold. In November, sales of the Verna sedan and the high-end Alcazar SUV were much lower.

What This Signifies

Despite increased competition for hatchbacks and sedans, Hyundai's November sales highlight the strength of its SUV collection, particularly the Creta and the new Venue. This change is indicative of larger patterns in the Indian auto industry, where consumers are favouring SUVs due to their amenities, comfort, and space. The robust export results also point to Hyundai's increasing global influence in India.
