After its March launch in India, the Hyundai Creta N Line made its debut in Thailand at the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS).
Like in India, even in Thailand, the Creta N Line is supposed to be the sportier version of the standard Creta. However, there is one major difference for the Thai-spec model.
Let's now take a look at what comes with the Creta N Line in Thailand.
An Exterior That Dares
The Thai-spec Creta N Line gets the mesh pattern for the grille, connected LED DRLs, vertically stacked dual-pod headlights, multiple 'N Line' badges, and a dual-tip exhaust.
In addition, it gets 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels in silver and black with red calipers at the front and rear, with the 'N' badge placed right in the middle. Adding to the style are some red accents on the front bumper and side sills, connected LED tail lights, and a sporty roof spoiler.
For the SUV in Thailand, consumers only have a choice of two shades: Dragon Red Pearl with Black Roof and Creamy White Pearl with Black Roof.
The Cabin and Features
Inside, the Creta N Line adopts an all-black theme with red accents along the dashboard and AC vents. You will find contrasting red stitching on the 3-spoke steering wheel, gear lever, and even leather upholstery for the seats bearing 'N' embossing. To top it all off, there is more red ambient light inside to compliment the sporty character of the SUV.
The Thai-spec Creta N Line is treated to a pair of 10.25-inch displays, wireless phone charger, and Bose sound system with an 8-speaker setup. Features include hands-free operation with a panoramic sunroof, driver seat with power adjustment, and ventilated front seats.
Safety tech includes ESC, multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, TPMS, and some ADAS.
What's Under The Hood?
In an unusual choice, Hyundai has excluded the 160 PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine offered to the Indian version of the Creta N Line from the Thai specifications. Instead, it has the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated unit (with a power output of 115 PS/ 144 Nm) coupled with CVT automatic transmission just from the standard version. The manual 6-speed transmission offered in the Indian version is skipped for the Thailand market.
Hyundai Creta N Line in India
Allied to its rather rich lineage, the Creta N Line from Hyundai is primarily available in two variants- N8 and N10. The price range starts from Rs 16.93 lakh to Rs 20.64 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). It directly competes against the likes of the Kia Seltos GTX+ and X-Line, besides higher-spec models of the Volkswagen TaigunGT, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor.
