The demand for SUVs is at a record high in the Indian automobile market, with the majority of the best-selling models being priced below Rs 15 lakh.
Since personalisation is also a concern for buyers, companies provide a range of colour options for their SUVs, and black is a favourite – so much so that some companies have custom "dark editions" with a blacked-out colour scheme for both the exterior and interior.
We have a list of all the dark edition SUVs you can purchase for below Rs 15 lakh.
Hyundai Exter Knight Edition
Kicking off the list is Hyundai’s entry-level SUV, the Exter. Buyers can opt for the all-black treatment starting from the Exter’s SX Knight Edition variant, which costs Rs 8.46 lakh, which is Rs 15,000 more than the equivalent SX trim.
The Exter Knight Edition offers a blacked-out finish on the exterior with ‘Knight Edition’ badging and red accents in the front bumper, brake calipers and tailgate. The interior also remains true to the theme with black trim, red stitching, footwell illumination, etc. The higher-end Knight Edition Dual Tone versions feature a black roof and various color choices on the body.
