The Safari continues as Tata's seven-seat flagship SUV, offered with a 170 PS 2.0-litre diesel or a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol. Buyers can pick between a six-seat layout with captain's chairs or a more conventional seven-seat bench setup, and opting for six seats also brings the option of ventilated second-row seats.
Feature highlights include a 14.5-inch touchscreen, dual-zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof, backed by five-star ratings in both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP tests.
It squares off against rivals like the Hector Plus, XUV 7XO, Alcazar and Meridian, with prices spanning Rs 13.40 lakh to Rs 26.91 lakh, ex-showroom.
